Options
- Custom lengths, both longer and shorter, can be manufactured.
- Couplings to suit your requirements can be manufactured from Steel, Stainless Steel, ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
- Higher rated torque shafts are available.
- Alternative bore sizes and types are available, e.g. keyways, hex sockets, bi-squares.
Accessories
- 'P' Clips: Used to provide restraint to longer Masterflex shafts in areas where differential movement is not required or to restrict to a particular section of shaft. Stainless Steel 'P' clips available on request.
- Rigid Metallic Tubes: Formed rigid metallic tubes from a variety of materials and with end terminations (connections) to suit your needs from DIY to aerospace.
- Springs / Casing Protectors: Where a shaft assembly has a long unsupported length, an external spring around the casing can ease teh strain at the flexible to rigid interface and provide a more gradual transition. Can also be used to protect the casing from adjacent equipment which may contact and cause abrasion or serves as a heat sink to take heat away from a local heat source.
- Supplied in chemically blackened or bright zinc coated mild steel.
Length Tolerances
- 300mm to 1500mm = ±1.5mm
- 1501mm to 3000mm = ±3.0mm
- 3001mm to 5000mm = ±5.0mm
