NEW WEBSITE LAUNCH
|
Ondrives recently launched their brand new website with a completely new clean design, designed with much easier navigation tools to specific product areas, and clear, concise search options for finding products and we hope you’ll agree!
This is an exciting time for the company, continues Marketing Manager Amanda Laughton, taking Ondrives to the next level of customer service in terms of ever more secure online ordering, ease of ordering parts online and an ever more extensive range of products to choose from. The re-vamped site will also shortly include a section for customers to login and view orders, making the whole ordering process much easier and simpler.
The products featured include, as always, the standard range of unique red anodised gearboxes as well as couplings, clamps, linear motion parts, fasteners, bearings, anti-vibration products, springs, mechanical accessories as well as the growing range of both precision and commercial gears, power transmission components, timing pulleys/belts and racks, launched earlier this year with the merger of Ondrives and Rino Industries Ltd, under the one name of Ondrives Ltd.
All are available to order online with extensive dimensional and technical information and know-how on each product page to ensure customers get the most detailed information possible on every individual part.
Customers will also find the 3D designs of certain products available for download, enabling them to change and modify the design where required. Free quotations for specials, as always, are available on request – Ondrives welcome your one-off custom requirements whether for batch quantities or prototypes, states Managing Director Ben Hinchliffe.
We are sure you will enjoy using the new website to complete all your mechanical products and power transmission online ordering requirements and look forward to processing your enquiries and orders soon.

MORE NEW MACHINES PURCHASED
|
Late 2009 sees the purchase of more state-of-the-art machines by Ondrives, including:–
| Doosan HC400 twin pallet horizontal machining centre, to compliment the high precision high speed 7 pallet version we already had giving more flexibility and capacity. This is a linear scale high precision machine with probing |
 |
| TESA-Scan 50 CE Plus optical non-contact scanner purchased to enhance Ondrives' measuring capabilities. |
 |
To complement our existing Gleason-Pfauter P90 Gear Hobber, we introduced a twin to maintain our trend towards precision engineering. We were, even on these new models, able to thread grind with CBN wheels making ground worms for extreme precision even after the hardening process.
Ondrives believe this continued investment in high-end machinery enables them to offer you, our customers, the very best level of quality and precision components as complete control is maintained in-house to exacting standards.

LATEST EXTENSIONS TO BUILDING
|
Early 2010 will see new extensions to some of our existing buildings completed, giving us a total floor space of over 32,000sq/ft (+3000sq/m). The first of the new extensions (left) will provide a clean room for gearbox assembly and gear assemblies and the second extension (right) will facilitate additional production capacity.
This enables Ondrives to further enhance quality and production control with ever more storage space to allow for more stock items to be held, satisfying those “just-in-time” requirements, states Managing Director Ben Hinchliffe.

ONDRIVES ON THE FRONT COVER
|
Two well-known engineering magazines have recently featured Ondrives on their front covers, ensuring maximum coverage for the company, states Marketing Manager Amanda Laughton. “The first was included in October’s DPA, featuring the new range of metal bellows and safety couplings, recently launched in the April 2009 catalogue”, she continues, “with an editorial piece written specially to highlight the many benefits of these products.”
The second is November’s Design Solutions magazine featuring a top quality photograph of our in-house manufactured precision pinion shafts and gears, again with an editorial piece within the publication to further enhance the product range.
